Border Collie Rescue Testimonials - Happy Ever After

In 2005 our family decided to take on a dog. Our preference was to adopt an adult dog, rather than a puppy, and had settled on a Border Collie. A family friend put us in contact with Ms. Tull Luttrell as an active member of the Border Collie Breed Club who did particular work in re-homing dogs.

Ms. Luttrell was extremely helpful and identified a suitable dog – a four-year old female by the kennel name of Lady Vicky. Lady was a working farm dog who needed a new home after the farm scaled back its operations. Ms. Luttrell kenneled and cared for the dog for several weeks before she was moved to us, and in that time also helped by organizing sterilization surgery for Lady. Transport was arranged; Ms. Luttrell loaned us a travel crate and saw to it that Lady was safely transported to us in Perth.

Several years later, Lady has settled into her new life in town and is a much loved member of the family. We’re all very thankful for the help Ms. Luttrell gave us in finding us a dog, and in finding a new home for Lady.

Sincerely,
Stephen Hayes & the Hayes Family
